Bethlehem Children’s School is celebrating its 20-year anniversary at the school’s favorite annual festivity—Greenfest—a daylong, family-friendly party.Greenfest 2016 Flyer

This fun-filled festival takes place on the grounds of Bethlehem Children’s School. From wine tasting and an impressive live-music lineup to pony rides and a petting zoo, this party is sure to make your weekend come alive.

Kicking-off the event is the beautifully mellow and harmonious acoustic duo, The Pretty Wreckless; followed by local celebrity, Deb Cavanaugh (well-known for her devotion to the Music Together family music programs). She is sure to get your kiddos and the whole family clapping, skipping, singing and dancing. The afternoon captures the hearts of worldly jazz lovers as Heard takes the stage—sure to awaken your ears, enliven your hearts and get your toes tapping. Headlining the party is the area’s most beloved cover band, Raisinhead, reviving venerated classics from Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan and The Allman Brothers.

Not only will Greenfest have some of the area’s finest music, you can shop at artisan vendor booths and partake in bucket- and silent auction-hoopla. Try your luck at the laid-back bucket auction or strap on your running shoes at the slightly more competitive silent auction. Look for the alluring donations from some of the area’s most benevolent companies—tempting taste buds from some of the Capital Region’s finest restaurants; spa treatments and custom jewelry; or for the earthier folks, fun-tastic fungi donations!

Greenfest 2016 takes place on Saturday, May 14, 2016, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Children’s School: 12 Fisher Blvd, Slingerlands, NY 12159. The party marks the launch of 20 successful years and Bethlehem Children’s School proudly looks ahead to 20 more. Nature. Wisdom. Wellness. is not only our school’s tagline, more importantly it instills these core values in each child, each day. Greenfest 2016—be there!
